Sixth track from Drop the Silence's "The Dream Ascension"
lyrics
Aletta Ocean
Off with her head
Nothing is left for sinners like you
The temple you hold, is rotten inside
Infected by selfishness
Now you are condemned, to eternal grief
Beholding disgrace
Distress forever
Impurity at her temple, her beauty is set to die
Lies dying on your lips false feelings and flies will be
Ornaments for your, lonely tomb
For every night of pleasure I’ll bring endless torment to your soul
Choke on my hate, you fucking slut and drown in pain x4
I’ll give you something you just, cannot swallow
I’ll bring you pain and you wont find it so pleasing
Living thru
Carnal pleasure, you devastated your fate
Your dead dreams, hidden inside will be your only console
Your mask will fall
Sodomised dreams and lives
You will envy death
I’ll final find joy
Watching you falling apart
Nothing is left for sinners like you,
The temple you hold is rotten inside
Infected by selfishness
Now you are condemned, to eternal grief
Beholding disgrace
Distress forever
Sinking in regret
This is your last for i wont
Show you mercy
Always on your knees now you’ll
Beg for mercy
But your filthy mouth won’t help you out
This time
And your mourning turned into
Terrifying screams
My joy comes from your
Mourning
Just waiting to die
Two impressive vocalists, variable and skilled guitarists and a tight and very powerful rhythm section. That plus the ability to write a song really leaves nothing left to desire here. mourner
I am in awe. Absolutely flawless vocals and instrumentals. You guys have my full support. Just keep making music like this and you guys are golden. Like Rings Of Saturn only with more rhythm. Dillon Geyer
Chicago deathcore outfit Into the Silo torch everything in sight on this searing new LP with riffs that will leave bruises. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 21, 2022
Symphonic stuff in metal doesn’t make its way into my collection aside from a couple of early Cradle albums. The orch here though just ads to how huge this band sounds. It makes elements in the songs more immersive. There are plenty of breaks from orchestration where its in deathcore/slamming brutality mode. While not ignorant, the songs never play with time or get mathy making it accessible and memorable. Came out 2015? Impressed. Mitch Mitcherson
