First track from Drop the Silence's "The Dream Ascension"
lyrics
Into Disgrace
For so long I’ve been awakened
By the curse of this darkness
She pulled me down withering
All of my hopes and dreams
Hollowing my insides stealing every breath i could take
I broke my own fall to keep you alive
She’ll suffer, for this sky
Just enough to stop breathing
Holding tight your frail necklace
She’ll suffer for this sky
Into disgrace we’ll
Fall
Waking up from this dream, I cherished you once to death, and now
Bitter by all of your lies
Quickly I watched you fade away from my hands
Your kiss wont fucking last enough
To save your memory
The wind it blown away
All moments I once
Perfectly had of you
When you’re staring to the sky
I’ll come and watch away
The day, you walk into your death
Never again x2
Once again, I’ll curse your name
From your lies, that won’t come true
And a promise that lays broken
All the blood we spilled for you
And my desire
For your fucking flesh
Tonight your life will be
Taken by this knife
Finally you’ll be mine
She made me fall now
I will drag you back
To hell with me
Two impressive vocalists, variable and skilled guitarists and a tight and very powerful rhythm section. That plus the ability to write a song really leaves nothing left to desire here. mourner
I am in awe. Absolutely flawless vocals and instrumentals. You guys have my full support. Just keep making music like this and you guys are golden. Like Rings Of Saturn only with more rhythm. Dillon Geyer
Chicago deathcore outfit Into the Silo torch everything in sight on this searing new LP with riffs that will leave bruises. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 21, 2022
Symphonic stuff in metal doesn’t make its way into my collection aside from a couple of early Cradle albums. The orch here though just ads to how huge this band sounds. It makes elements in the songs more immersive. There are plenty of breaks from orchestration where its in deathcore/slamming brutality mode. While not ignorant, the songs never play with time or get mathy making it accessible and memorable. Came out 2015? Impressed. Mitch Mitcherson
