Seventh track from Drop the Silence's "The Dream Ascension"
lyrics
Dream Ascension
Trapped inside
You are lost, life’s a mess
Nothing pleases you, you feel dead
Lost, you stopped living
Faith, trapped in your mind
You drown every night,
Chugging bottles, burning out
Guilt, self-destruction
Grief, abolition
Collapsed, thinking dead
Broken spirit , makes no sense
So overlooked
You’re on your knees
Regretting all your wrongs in life
A life full of pain
Blaming everyone around
Aint gotta be like this
There’s always one way out
Same dream, every night
Brings you thoughts of suicide
Think twice
Recognize
You can fight it
It’s in your mind
Face your ghosts
Torn them up
Negative energy
Runs your body
Runs your mind
Cleanse your psique
Dawn of spiritual life
Release tension inside
It’s not an easy path
Work your dreams, it’s a start
Nightmares come, need to end them
This will lead to a new state
Positive existence
Higher self
Reach perfection
Wake up, feel the change
Face your fears
Defeat your hell
Vivid dream landscape
Embrace it free your mind
Fragments of your life
It changes every night
Violent vicious life
Infected by design
Time to make it right
It makes you who you are
Wild dreams wild self
Projection
Under your skin
Connection
Within yourself
Dreadful wasteland
Devastation
On and on again

Two impressive vocalists, variable and skilled guitarists and a tight and very powerful rhythm section. That plus the ability to write a song really leaves nothing left to desire here. mourner

I am in awe. Absolutely flawless vocals and instrumentals. You guys have my full support. Just keep making music like this and you guys are golden. Like Rings Of Saturn only with more rhythm. Dillon Geyer
Chicago deathcore outfit Into the Silo torch everything in sight on this searing new LP with riffs that will leave bruises. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 21, 2022

Symphonic stuff in metal doesn’t make its way into my collection aside from a couple of early Cradle albums. The orch here though just ads to how huge this band sounds. It makes elements in the songs more immersive. There are plenty of breaks from orchestration where its in deathcore/slamming brutality mode. While not ignorant, the songs never play with time or get mathy making it accessible and memorable. Came out 2015? Impressed. Mitch Mitcherson
